At the Core of it All:

Hi! I’m Cassidy, Owner + Creative Director behind Simply Lynn’s Creative and this is my story.

I vividly remember the continual thought during a summer internship in college that there HAD to be another way. No way was I going to sell my soul to corporate america for the rest of my life. And it makes sense that I felt this way… I came from a family of entrepreneurs, so it only felt natural to want to start my own business.

I spent a few years helping just my mom with our marketing efforts for our family’s business, The Cook’s Nook’s — from our website and over brand awareness, to social media, and email marketing — I have SO much experience with the whole nine yards as a retailer and a marketer. That’s truly what makes working with me unique, my experience in both retail + marketing. In 2018, I designed my first website and dove head first into the entrepreneurship world and I haven’t looked back since. Marketing is something that truly lights me up and there is nothing better than helping my clients achieve their goals from a holistic approach to their brand.

I have an amazing network + team of creatives that I pull in from time to time on projects. The best part of it all? My sister recently started to help me in areas of my business that I wouldn’t trust with anyone else, but her.

We are different because in a way, we are the same. We are small business owners. We grew up in a family of small business owners. We get it. The hard work, the lifestyle, the dedication, the trust. It’s all we’ve ever known and that is why we’re good at what we do!

We were born and raised in the heart of the midwest and entrepreneurship runs deep in our family.

From our grandpa’s locally owned pharmacy that ran 2 doors down from our grandma’s kitchenware + housewares + gift shop, The Cook’s Nook, that our mom continues to operates today, to our dad, who has his own unique self-employment experience caddying on the LPGA tour, it’s safe to say, we understand entrepreneurship + small business retail!

Basically, we live and breathe small business. It’s woven into the fabric of our lives. We've witnessed the hard work, the unique lifestyle, the unwavering dedication, and the invaluable trust that defines small business. It is this intimate familiarity that drives our passion and expertise in helping small business owners thrive.
